As of December 28, the passengers who arrive in Turkey by plane are obliged to present the negative test for COVID-19 done during the past 72 hours before departure. As of December 30, those who travel by land and sea will also have to present such a test, IPN reports.
According to Moldova’s Embassy in Turkey, the persons who will not present the negative test will be banned from boarding. The foreigners who will enter Turkey by land or sea and will not be in possession of a negative test will be placed in quarantine for seven days at the declared addresses.
The persons who will not present the proof of having a place to stay in Turkey will be placed in quarantine at places set by the provincial Health Departments. After seven days of quarantine, they will do a test and will be able to leave quarantine if this is negative. The persons tested positive will follow medical treatment, in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Health of Turkey.
