The crossing of means of transport with goods in containers will be restricted from August 16 at the Cahul-Oancea customs and border crossing post (road), at the entry into the country. A decision in this regard was taken by the Customs Service following an analysis, IPN reports.
The Customs Service noted that the analysis was carried out in order to streamline traffic through the customs posts located on the Moldovan-Romanian border, for the efficient management of the flow of means of transport, so as to achieve efficient customs control by using the available special equipment, but also taking into account the infrastructure of the customs posts and access roads.
Through the Cahul-Oancea customs and border crossing post, vehicles without goods can leave the country.
Authorized economic operators (AEOS/AEOF) are exempt from the aforementioned restrictions, if they transport goods in means of transport other than thermoses or refrigerators.
