The candidates this year will take the Baccalaureate exams at 93 centers, of which 31 are in Chisinau. The list of Baccalaureate centers for the 2024 exam session was approved at the meeting of the National Exams Commission. The tests papers will be graded at four national assessment centers in Chisinau starting June 4. On June 27, the results of the basic session will be posted in the Baccalaureate centers, IPN reports.
Given the total number of candidates in each district and municipality, by only one Baccalaureate center will be opened in 15 of the districts.
About 18,800 candidates are registered for the 2024 exam session. Out of these, 2,514 failed to pass exams the previous sessions.
The national Baccalaureate exams will be sat by 8,609 candidates studying exact sciences, 9,299 candidates studying humanities, 551 candidates studying arts and 293 candidates studying at sports schools.
According to the language of study, 15,064 candidates will take the tests in Romanian, while the other 3,688 candidates – in Russian/English/Bulgarian/Ukrainian/Gagauz.
The Baccalaureate session was scheduled for June 4-21, 2024.
