The month of August begins with scorching weather, against the backdrop of a warm air wave coming from northern Africa. According to the Authority for Meteorology and Environmental Monitoring, in the first week of the month, temperatures will reach up to +36 degrees Celsius, and there will be no precipitation.
Contacted by IPN, meteorologist Nadejda Stolear stated that daytime temperatures will gradually increase from +28..+33 degrees Celsius, recorded on July 31, to +31..+36 degrees Celsius in the following days.
During the night, the temperature values will rise from +13..+18 degrees Celsius to +17..+22 degrees Celsius.
The meteorologist specifies that temperatures of +33..+36 degrees Celsius fall within the heatwave values, and starting from tomorrow a yellow heatwave warning could be issued.
