About 100 refugee children from Ukraine have been enrolled in schools in Chisinau, and about 20 others attend kindergartens in the capital, announced Mayor Ion Ceban, announced this, IPN reports.
At the same time, the refugees will not be accommodated in the educational institutions in the capital. “We ordered that all children return to school, and that the educational process not be jeopardized,” the mayor said.
40 placement centers have been opened by the municipality. City Hall functionaries, psychologists, social workers and volunteers work in shifts at these placement centers.
