Seven French films will be presented at the 21st edition of the Francophone Film Festivalthat will take place at the Loteanu Cineplex in Chisinau during October 31 – November 3, IPN reports.
The festival is inaugurated on October 31, at 6pm, with the historical drama “Lost Illusions”. On November 1, at 4pm, there will be shown the film “The Children’s Crusade”, while the biographical film “Probe into State Scandal” will be screened at 6pm. On November 2, at 4pm, there will be presented ‘The Event”, while at 6pm – “Vortex”. The comedy “Stupid Goodbye!” will be screened on November 3, at 4pm, while the historical drama “Persian Lessons” will be shown at 6pm.
All the films were made recently, with some of them being awarded in Cannes, Venice or obtained a valuable César award. They express the diversity and richness of the French film industry, which has always occupied a privileged place in the hearts of the public following the Lumière Brothers’ invention, runs a press release of the French Alliance in Moldova.
The films will be subtitled in Romanian.
