Weather forecasters issued a yellow warning for ground frost all over Moldova for the period between October 15 and 17. According to the State Weather Service, there will be -1..-3 degrees Celsius at night and in the morning, IPN reports.
Autumn frosts can affect the vegetables and grapes that haven’t been yet gathered. It is recommended using fuming that tempers the low temperatures in the morning. Farmers can directly warm the air through special infrared radiation emitting installations. They can also use air ventilation that prevents the formation of thermic inversion in the layer of air close to the soil.
