More than 506,000 applications for energy compensation have been submitted so far in the 2024-2025 cold season. Of these, almost 256,000 were filled with the help of registrars, IPN reports.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection said that, in order to benefit from the compensation for November, those interested must register on the platform compensatii.gov.md by November 28.
During the cold season, applications can be submitted at any time, but compensation will not be granted retroactively. If the application is submitted after the 28th of the month, the compensation will be granted starting with the following month.
The energy compensation this year is provided in monetary form and is transferred directly to each eligible household, to the applicant’s bank card, or to the post office. All households heated by natural gas, thermal energy, electricity or solid fuel (wood, coal, pellets, briquettes) are eligible.
For questions about the registration process, citizens can contact free of charge the Green Line on 0 8000 5000 (Monday-Friday between 08:00 a.m. and 06:00 p.m. and Saturday between 10:00 a.m. and 04:00 p.m.). So far, about 33,660 people have been assisted through the program’s Green Line.
