Romanian Crown Custodian, Princess Margareta is paying a visit to Chisinau on Friday alongside Prince Consort Radu, IPN reports, quoting agerpres.ro.
“The visit is made following a telephone conversation held at the end of June with the President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu. In the then discussion, it was noted the support provided by the Crown of Romania since 2013 to the Republic of Moldova to help it integrate into the European Union and the historical ties between the Royal House and the sister country,” noted the quoted source.
Also, Princes Margareta and President Sandu discussed concrete methods by which the Royal Family can further assist the Republic of Moldova on its path to the EU.
While in Chisinau, Princess Margareta and Prince Radu will have meetings with Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu and Colonel Iurie Gîrneţ, rector (commander) of the Armed Forces Academy “Alexandru cel Bun”.
