SMS scam about postal parcels

The authorities warn about a new phishing scam. This time, scammers send SMS messages about a postal parcel with a fake link, IPN reports.

“Persons who are waiting for postal parcels, beware! We warn you about a new scam through SMS messages that contain fake links. Don’t open the link. Don’t provide personal data and don’t pay the requested sums!” the Customs Service noted.

According to the institution, the messages are fake and are not sent by Moldova’s Post Office.

To check the information, one can call the Client Support Service on (022) 27 00 44 or send a message to the email informații@posta.md.
