The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, will host the President of Romania, Nicusor Dan, on Tuesday in Chisinau, who is on his first official visit to the Republic of Moldova, IPN reports.
“This visit reconfirms the profound and special nature of bilateral relations—built on historical, cultural, and linguistic ties—and reflects the shared commitment to strengthening and expanding bilateral cooperation for the benefit of citizens on both sides of the Prut River,” according to a press release from the Presidency.
The official welcoming ceremony will take place at 13:40, and at 15:10, the two heads of state will hold a joint press conference.
