The government launches the eDemocracy platform: petitions, requests, and surveys 100% online

A new digital platform, eDemocracy, allows citizens to submit petitions, request public information, and respond to surveys directly from their phone or computer, 100% online, according to IPN.

The platform was launched at the Moldova Digital Summit 2025, held this week, and aims to facilitate active communication between citizens and public institutions through a digitized mechanism for submitting petitions and participating in public consultations in the form of electronic questionnaires.

eDemocracy can be accessed through the EVO app or directly from the edemocratie.gov.md website.

Currently, the platform is operating in pilot mode and allows requests to be sent to over ten public institutions, with the list set to be expanded in the near future. Any public authority, whether central or local, can connect to the platform either by sending a request directly from the system or by filling out the dedicated request form.

An initial survey has already been launched on the platform by the Ministry of Labor, which aims to assess citizens’ satisfaction with the quality and accessibility of social services.

The eDemocracy platform is launched by the Government of the Republic of Moldova and developed by the e-Government Agency, with financial support from the Soros Foundation Moldova, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, and the German Agency for International Cooperation.
