A 67-year-old woman from a locality of Florești district died after she was beaten by her husband. The 75-year-old man was taken into custody shortly afterward.
Contacted by IPN for details, Florești Police Inspectorate press officer Ina Banari said that the police were alerted last Sunday. It was preliminarily determined that a day earlier, there had been a conflict between the victim and her husband and the man hit her for several times. A postmortem examination is to be carried out.
A criminal case was initiated over domestic violence. The man was detained.
