Sixty parties and socio-political organizations have the right to participate in the general local elections to take place on November 5. This was confirmed by the Central Electoral Commission at its meeting today, based on information provided by the Public Services Agency (ASP). According to CEC chairwoman Angelica Caraman, the list does not include the Shor Party, which was declared unconstitutional on June 19 by the decision of the Constitutional Court. Per the electoral legislation, any party registered before the date of the elections is announced may field candidates.
