A flight of Air Moldova airline was canceled after a number of passengers started to fight on the plane. The plane was to set off to Tel Aviv from Chisinau at 9:40pm on December 25, but the captain decided not to take off, IPN reports.
After boarding the plane, a group of passengers caused altercations and endangered the safety of the flight, passengers and crew, Air Moldova posted on social media.
According to the airline, the senior pilot refused to take off as the security norms weren’t met. The passengers of the cancelled flight had to take the next available flight.
The Border Police also issued a press release, noting that four passengers who were citizens of Israel became aggressive and caused a fight onboard. Border police officers were called out to restore public order and to make sure that the passengers got off safely and were taken back to the arrivals hall of the Chisinau International Airport.
