Mihai Kulchak has won a bronze medal at the Canoe Sprint World Championships held in Hungary. The canoeist from Bălți contended in the Under 18 division, IPN reports.
Kulchak scored the result of 3:57.63 in the 1,000 m race, being beaten by David Toepel of Germany (3:56.15) and Damian Sieradzan of Poland (3:56.98).
Mihai Kihaya competed in the1,000 m race, the Under 23 division. He scored the result of 3:54.10, being outrun by Hungary’s Adolf Balazs (3:50.32) and Italy’s Gabriele Casadei (3:53.40).
