The total number of voters put on the State Register of Electors on January 3, 2023 was 3 294 050, IPN reports.
According to the Central Election Commission, 2 768 177 voters of the total are from territorial-administrative units of the second level.
The others are persons who have Moldovan nationality, but do not have the domicile or residence registered, including those who emigrated legally (257 094 people), and citizens eligible to vote from the territorial-administrative units of the Transnistrian region that are temporarily outside the sovereign control of the constitutional authorities of the Republic of Moldova (268 779 people).
