The first direct flight from Moldova to Bulgaria, from October 26

Starting from October 26th, the first direct flight from the Republic of Moldova to Bulgaria will be operated. The flight to Sofia will be carried out by Wizz Air company, four times a week, from the “Eugen Doga” International Airport in Chisinau, reports IPN.

Flights will be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. “The direct flight to Sofia is a significant step in diversifying our airport’s route network, facilitating travel between the Republic of Moldova and Bulgaria, and contributing to the development of tourism and bilateral economic cooperation,” noted Natalia Cojocaru, spokesperson for the International Airport.

“We wish for an increasing number of travelers from Moldova to have access to smart and efficient flight options. This new route is part of the Customer First Compass initiative and helps us expand our portfolio of European routes, ensuring direct and efficient flights,” stated Anastasía Novak, Corporate Communications Manager, Wizz Air.
