A new installment of 36 electric generators have been donated to the Moldovan Ministry of Health from the rescEU strategic stockpile, the European Union’s Civil Protection Mechanism . This was announced by the European commissioner for crisis management, Janez Lenarčič, during a public event.
The beneficiaries of the new batch of generators, worth 2.8 million euros, will be 30 national, district-level and municipal medical establishments.
Attending the event, Health Minister Ala Nemerenco welcomed the support offered since the very begging of the Ukraine war, support that made it possible to equip medical establishments throughout the country with 80 electric generators. This is the fourth batch that the Ministry of Health receives in a single year through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism.
