One of the most popular plays of the National Theater “I.L. Caragiale” of Bucharest, “ActOrchestra”, under the direction of Horia Suru, is put on in Cahul, Chisinau and Balti as part of the Tour of Romanian Actors. Entranced to the plays is free of charge, the Theater informed in a press release.
“ActOrchestra” is a theater-music production, a story full of humor, with three characters that set off on the unpredictable road of supremacy on stage, a concert transposed to a cheerful, sonorous and rhythmic setting. The three actors who will be present are: Petre Ancuța, Florin Călbăjos and Emilian Mârnea.
The plays are staged at the National Theater “B. P. Hașdeu” in Cahul on June 28 at 5pm, at the Nameless Theater in Chisinau on June 30 at 7pm, and at the National Theater “Vasile Alecsandri” in Balti on July 2 at 6pm.
The Tour of Romanian Actors project is fully financed by the Department for Relations with the Republic of Moldova in partnership with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Moldova. Entrance to the plays is free of charge. The Department promotes the Romanian values and by such projects supports the meeting of actors of the National Theater “I.L. Caragiale” of Bucharest with the public in a number of Moldova’s localities so as to facilitate broader public access to the Romanian language and culture.
