A child aged seven fell from the fourth floor of an apartment building located in Cupcini town of Edineț district. The child was rushed to the hospital together with his mother and doctors are making efforts to save the minor, IPN reports.
According to the General Police Inspectorate, it was established that the window of the apartment was open and the boy, playing on the standstill and leaning against the insect screen, fell out.
An investigation is under way.
The police recommend permanently supervising the children, closing all the windows if the child is not momentarily supervised, explaining the danger of falling out to children from the earliest age and not placing furniture or other objects close to the window so as to exclude direct access to the standstill. Window handles should be blocked with special equipment.
