Following the storm on Thursday evening, 187 consumers from the Rascani district were left without electricity. According to RED-Nord, operational teams are continuously working to repair the damages and restore power supply, reports IPN.
The company states that the outage on the 330-kV Balti–Dnestrovsk power line did not affect the electricity supply to consumers in the northern distribution area. Consequently, the city of Balti and nearby towns are receiving power as usual.
At the same time, Moldelectrica announces that during the day on Friday, new pylons will be transported to the intervention site, which will replace the damaged elements. According to the company, the line restoration work will be carried out as a priority.
Citizens are urged not to approach fallen or hanging electrical wires and to immediately report any observed defects in the electrical network.
