According to the Ministry of Education and Research, the highest occupancy rate was recorded in the real profile, where over 90% of the places were filled. At the same time, the humanist profile concentrates the largest number of admitted students, over six thousand.
The MEC data shows that 8,908 students were admitted to high schools teaching in Romanian, which represents an occupancy rate of 88.28% of the available places. In institutions teaching in Russian, the occupancy rate is almost 77%, while in those with mixed instruction – it is 56.61%.
In urban high schools, 9,382 students were admitted, while in rural ones – 2,342. However, the occupancy rate was slightly higher in high school institutions from rural localities.
This year’s admission session includes 300 high school educational institutions. The Ministry of Education recommends graduates who were not admitted in the first stage or who wish to opt for another high school to participate in the second stage of the competition.
