Municipal services have been on duty in the center of the capital and ensured sanitation of public spaces. Officials from the General Directorate of Communal Housing and Urban Planning told IPN.
Thus, on December 31, January 1 and 2 in the Great National Assembly Square, during the cultural-artistic events, 10 workers of the ÎMGFL 8 were on the ground ,who worked from 6 in the morning until midnight.
On December 31, one waste route was emptied, with a total of 30 cubic meters of garbage accumulated. On January 1, after New Year’s Eve two routes were evacuated, accumulating 50 cubic meters of waste. Today, one route was evacuated.
According to the DGLCA officials are daily on the ground and in other sectors of the capital to sanitize sidewalks, waiting stations, access to the capital’s underground and block courtyards.
