The Electoral Bloc “Renato Usatîi”, which consists of the parties “Patria” and Our Party, lodged the documents for registration to the Central Election Commission (CEC). Renato Usatîi said the bloc’s electoral list includes specialists from different areas, with emphasis on jurists. “We will need many bills to reform the country, a new Constitution as the current one was disregarded and violated for many times,” the politician stated at the head office of the CEC, IPN reports.
The list of candidates is headed by Renato Usatîi, Elena Gritsko (who manages Renato Usatî’s foundation) and Ilian Casu. The list consists of 103 candidates among who are ten mayors, with two-three terms in office, 24 jurists, 16 economists, 12 engineers and also teachers, doctors, ecologists and others.
Renato Usatîi also said he hopes that after July 11, a part of those who destroyed the country during the past 30 years will be history, while another part will be jailed. The team decided to run in elections with honest people who weren’t featured in investigations of independent media outlets.
The CEC approved the registration of the Electoral Bloc “Renato Usatyi” on May 5.
May 14 is the first day that candidates for MP can submit the documents to the CEC. A draw will be held later today to decide the preliminary order on the ballot for the snap parliamentary elections of July 11.
