A man aged 35 and a passenger died as a result of a road accident that occurred between Brătușenii Noi and Brătușenii Vechi villages in the morning of December 19. According to press officer of the Edineț Police Inspectorate Svetlana Talpă, the car in which the two traveled crashed into a bus running on the Warsaw-Chisinau route that was full with passengers. No one from the bus was hurt, IPN reports.
The police established that the man aged 35 from Briceni town was traveling from the municipality of Bălți towards the municipality of Edineț. For unknown reasons, his car collided head-on with the bus driven by a 34-year-old man from Ialoveni district, who was travelling legally.
As a result of the impact, the car driver and passenger died on the spot. There were two drivers and 38 passengers on the bus.
