The access of individuals to certain public places in the capital will be temporarily restricted during the period of 10-12 June, in the context of official visits to Chisinau by several European officials, reports IPN.
Local authorities inform that, starting Tuesday morning at 08:00, and until Thursday at 20:00, access will be temporarily limited in certain areas of the city center, as well as on the roads connecting to Chisinau International Airport.
The mayor’s office specifies that, within this interval, in the areas where the official convoys will be moving, the organization of mass demonstrations, public meetings, as well as the organization of city works is forbidden.
The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, will host on Tuesday, in Chisinau, the President of Romania, Nicusor Dan, on his first official visit to the Republic of Moldova. The official welcoming ceremony will take place at 13:40, and at 15:10 the two heads of state will hold a joint press conference.
In the following days, Chisinau will host the Greek Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, and the Slovenian Foreign Minister, Tanja Fajon.
