Approximately 300 places for parking bicycles will be created in the municipality of Chisinau by the end of this year, IPN reports.
Parking spaces will be available in 90 locations in the capital city. By three or five bike parking stands will be set up near public buildings, health, cultural and recreational facilities, educational institutions and parks, said mayor Ion Ceban.
The General Public Transport and Communications Division launched a public tender contest to choose the contract that will execute the works. Bids can be submitted during September 16-26.
The total value of the project is 634,000 lei.
