Moldelectrica has announced possible power outages for December 5 owing to the perturbations in the electric power system, IPN reports
Last week, the consumers were also warned about possible interruptions in the supply of electricity due to Russia’s attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure.
On November 15 and 23, Moldova experienced extensive blackouts that lasted for several hours following the Russian attacks on the Ukrainian electricity system that is interconnected with Moldova’s system. According to the authorities, the interruptions occurred automatically to protect the overloaded power networks.
