The agreement on the temporary employment of workers from the Republic of Moldova in particular sectors in Israel will be extended by five years, up to January 5, 2029. A decision to this effect was taken by the Cabinet, IPN reports.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection said the goal of the agreement is to promote legal employment and to ensure the observance of the rights of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova who work in Israel.
The agreement between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of Israel was signed in Jerusalem on October 16, 2012. So far, owing to this agreement, 27 stages to recruit and employ citizens of the Republic of Moldova in Israel had been performed, with over 17,000 Moldovan workers being employed based on individual work contracts.
