The issuance, exchange and restoration of the driver’s license will cost more and the service will also include the issuance of the provisional license, IPN reports.
According to a document that was approved on Wednesday by the Cabinet, if the service will be provided in 20 days, the charge will be 420 lei. For urgency, applicants will pay more: 760 lei if the license will be issued in 10 working days; 1,100 lei if the applicant wants it in five days, and 1,440 lei if the applicant cannot wait for more than three days. The charge for issuing the permit during a working day is 1,780 lei, while on the day of application – 2,120 lei.
The same draft provides that the registration certificate and the provisional driving license will also be generated electronically and will have the same value on the territory of the Republic of Moldova as the documents issued physically.
