A batch of Polish swings have been withdrawn from sale after specialists found that babies could have their neck or head caught in the seat, IPN reports.
The State Inspectorate for the Supervision of Non-Food Products and Consumer Protection announced the withdrawal from the market of PlayPark Transformer TRIX children’s swing, produced by KBT Polska. The decision was taken after the Polish authorities informed that they identified serious risks that the head or neck can get trapped in the swing seat.
Specialists urge consumers to treat this warning seriously in order to prevent possible accidents.
Both the producer and distributors in the Republic of Moldova started the process of recalling the products sold, both from intermediaries and consumers.
The Inspectorate for Consumer Protection recommends parents to immediately stop using this swing model and return the product to the place where it was purchased.
