A young girl from a village in the Dubasari district was found after an all-night search involving police officers, relatives, and locals. The search concluded successfully on the morning of Saturday, January 4, when the girl was discovered in a field at the edge of a forest where she had spent the entire night, IPN reports.
According to the General Police Inspectorate, the girl was not the victim of any crime.
Authorities were alerted by the girl’s mother, who reported that her daughter had set off to visit her grandmother in another village but had not reached her destination even four hours later.
More than 50 police officers from Dubasari, along with relatives, foresters, and locals, searched for the girl throughout the night. Since she did not have a phone with her, her location could not be tracked.
When the girl was found, it was revealed that she had taken a shorter path through the forest but became lost. A dog joined her during the ordeal and stayed by her side throughout the night.
