The Federal Minister for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria, Beate Meinl-Reisinger, will conduct an official visit to the Republic of Moldova from August 19 to 21, reports IPN.
During the visit, the Austrian official will meet with President Maia Sandu, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mihai Popșoi, as well as with the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Cristina Gherasimov.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the purpose of the visit is to strengthen bilateral relations between Moldova and Austria, through discussions on cooperation in the fields of European diplomacy, economy, and social affairs.
At the same time, on Thursday morning, a joint press conference will be held by Mihai Popșoi and Beate Meinl-Reisinger, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
