For the first time, in Moldova, the first electronic Registry of origin guarantees for renewable energy was launched, managed by the National Agency for Regulation in Energy. The new registry allows the issuance, transfer, use, and cancellation of origin guarantees, reports IPN.
According to ANRE, the register is connected to the regional system of the Energy Community and provides a transparent mechanism for tracking renewable energy produced and delivered to the network. Producers, suppliers, and consumers of renewable energy can register on the platform based on a request and an annual fee of 3,027 lei for the next year.
The system was developed by a European company, specialized in such platforms, following the signing of the contract in September.
ANRE announces that dedicated training for users has been conducted. The Secretariat of the Energy Community provided technical and legal support.
Energocom has already made the first transaction – the sale of 9,000 origin guarantees to an end consumer, following a procedure approved by ANRE.
