The Ukrainian delegation will meet in the coming days in the USA with representatives of President Donald Trump’s administration to finalize the documents regarding security guarantees and the plan for the reconstruction of the war-torn country, announced on Friday the Ukrainian president Volodimir Zelenski, reports IPN.
During a press conference in Kiev, President Volodimir Zelenski stated that if the document projects are finalized and approved by the United States, he will meet next week with his American counterpart, Donald Trump, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, to sign them.
According to Zelenski, the Ukrainian delegation is composed of the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Rustem Umerov, the head of the presidential administration, Kirill Budanov, and the president of the majority parliamentary faction “Servant of the People”, David Arahamia.
The Ukrainian president met with the American leader on December 28 in Florida, where they discussed the peace plan for Ukraine, comprising 20 points, and the security guarantees offered by the USA for a period of 15 years, with the possibility of extension.
