The business entities that will obtain the status of authorized economic operator (AEO) will benefit from abridged examinations at customs posts and priority treatment on clearance and transport checks.
The Government approved a bill to ratify the Decision taken by the Republic of Moldova – EU Customs Subcommittee in Brussels on October 3, 2022, concerning the mutual recognition of authorized economic operators programs, IPN reports.
The ratification of the Decision will optimize the interaction and coordination of activities between the customs authorities of the Republic of Moldova and the EU within the common efforts to secure borders and facilitate commercial exchanges, noted the Executive.
