The accomplice of the mayor of Boldurești village, who allegedly helped the mayor hide the traces of the accident as a result of which a teenager died, was identified. This is a dentist, IPN reports.
According to the General Police Inspectorate, the accomplice supposedly helped the mayor find a car identical to the one involved in the accident. He also helped fix the license plate on another car to mislead the police.
The man is to be detained.
The teenager who was fatally injured on Monday night was 14 years old. The driver tried to avoid criminal responsibility by staging a car accident involving the damaged car last night. The 47-year-old man was detained on Wednesday morning. Previously, he held the position of head of the Nisporeni Police Inspectorate.
