Zimbru Chisinau won against Milsami Orhei 2-1 in the first leg of the quarterfinals of Moldova’s Football Cup, IPN reports.
After a goalless first half, Milsami opened the scoring in the 65th minute through Montenegrin player Aleksandar Milic. The joy of the hosts did not last long. Just 6 minutes later, Nigerian footballer Emmanuel Alaribe tied. The yellow-greens scored the winning goal in the last phase of the match, through Ukraine’s Denis Dedechko, who flawlessly converted a free kick.
The other three games of the quarterfinals ended as follows: Petrocub – Stauceni 8-0, CSF Balti – Dacia Buiucani 2-1 and Sheriff – Victoria 2-0. The return matches are scheduled for April 3 and 4.
