Preliminary order of candidates on ballot for presidential election

At most 12 candidates will be on the ballot for the October 20 presidential election. Their order was determined deepening on the moment when candidates’ support groups submitted the subscription lists with signatures to the Central Election Commission. When two or more files were presented on the same day, the order was established by draw, IPN reports.

This is how the ballot paper will look like in the election:

1. Alexandr Stoianoglo, nominated by the Party of Socialists;
2. Maia Sandu, nominated by the Party of Action and Solidarity;
3. Renato Usatyi, nominated by Our Party;
4. Vasile Tarlev, nominated by the Party for the Future of Moldova;
5. Ion Chicu, nominated by the Party of Consolidation and Development;
6. Irina Vlah, nominated by a group of citizens;
7. Andrei Năstase, nominated by a group of citizens;
8. Victoria Furtună, nominated by a group of citizens;
9. Octavian Țîcu, nominated by “Together” Electoral Bloc;
10. Igor Munteanu, nominated by the Coalition for Unity and Welfare;
11. Natalia Morari, nominated by a group of citizens;
12. Tudor Ulianovschi, nominated by a group of citizens.

The first six on the list have already been registered and can campaign. In the case of the other six aspirants, the files are being examined.
