Five candidates have submitted their files for the selection competition for the general director of the public company “Teleradio-Moldova”. According to the Supervisory Board, these are Dorin Scobioala, Adrian Graur, Ecaterina Cheptanaru, Sergiu Sandulescu and Andrei Zapsa, reports IPN.
According to the Regulation on the organization and conduct of the competition, the stage of verifying the files by the Supervisory and Development Council of TRM is to follow on July 14. The Council members will examine whether each candidate meets the eligibility conditions and whether the files are complete.
The admitted candidates will subsequently participate in the public interview, during which they will present the managerial project for the company’s development for the next seven years.
According to the regulations, the evaluation is based on criteria regarding professional experience, managerial skills, vision for the institution’s development, and the ability to implement the managerial project. At the end of the interviews, each member of the Council will assign grades, and the candidate who will obtain at least a grade of 7 and the highest score will be declared the winner.
The general director of the “Teleradio-Moldova” Company is appointed for a term of seven years, which cannot be renewed. The Supervisory and Development Council is to announce the date of the meeting in which the files will be examined and public interviews will be conducted.
The position became vacant after Vlad Turcanu, appointed director in December 2021, announced his resignation on May 18, during a press conference, in the context of the scandal that broke out after this year’s Eurovision final.
