President Maia Sandu condemns the launch of the Oreshnik missile by Russia against Ukraine, which targeted energy infrastructure and civilian homes. The head of state asserts that war represents a danger to all, reports IPN.
“This act of terror aims to intimidate Ukraine and its partners. The war is approaching Europe and poses a danger to everyone. We stand in solidarity with Ukraine”, Maia Sandu wrote in a public post.
On the night of Thursday to Friday, Russia launched an Oreshnik ballistic missile over the Lviv region of Ukraine. The Kremlin officially confirmed the launch, justifying it by an alleged Ukrainian attack on Vladimir Putin’s residence. In this context, Ukraine requested an emergency convening of the UN Security Council.
