The Ministry of Energy has provided updated data regarding the number of consumers who were left without electricity following the unfavorable weather conditions on Thursday afternoon. According to the institution, it involves more than 7,800 consumers, who have been fully reconnected to the power grid, reports IPN.
Throughout the night, disconnections were recorded, caused by strong gusts of wind and ice accretions. Thus, the total number of affected consumers reached approximately 6 thousand in the service area of SA “RED-Nord” and 1,800 in the area of SA “Premier Energy Distribution”.
The intervention teams of the distribution system operators have been working continuously throughout the night and today, being mobilized in the field for the prompt repair of faults that occurred in the electrical networks. Distribution operators manage individual cases, which aim at repairing notices regarding disturbances in low voltage networks (0.4 kV).
