Greco-Roman wrestler Alexandrin Guțu has qualified for the final of the U23 World Wrestling Championships held in Spain. He defeated India’s Sajan, Kazakhstan’s Rassul Zhunis and Dmytro Vasetskyi of Ukraine, IPN reports.
In the final of the 77 kg weight class, Roman Zgardan’s pupil faces Armenia’s Malkhas Amoyan, senior world champion last year and European champion this year.
In the 63 kg class, Vitalie Yeryomenko won against Yerzhet Zharlykassyn of Kazakhstan but lost to Armenia’s Hrachya Poghosyan.
