After the extremely high temperatures in recent days, Greece will experience an even greater heat wave at the beginning of next week. Starting from Monday, temperatures are forecasted to exceed 43 degrees Celsius for at least four days, according to Greek media cited by IPN.
Experts specify that this is one of the most intense heatwaves in recent years, with a major impact on people’s daily lives.
The heatwave not only makes the atmosphere suffocating, but also increases air pollution, with serious risks to health, specialists mention. They explain that the combination of the heatwave, suspended particles, and ozone is very harmful, especially for people who already have health problems, respiratory issues, asthma, or cardiovascular conditions.
