President Maia Sandu condemned the new massive rocket attack on Ukraine launched by the Russian armed forces this morning. The official said that while a part of the world celebrate the winter holidays, Russia continues causing destruction and death in Ukraine, IPN reports.
“We vehemently condemn these barbarous actions that are not provoked by anyone, which are designed to bring destruction and death. The shelling of towns with peaceful people and destruction of infrastructure that ensures elementary living conditions in the winter is a crime that should not remain unpunished,” said President Maia Sandu, being quoted in a message disseminated by the presidential press service.
According to the first estimates, over 100 missiles caused explosions in residential areas in Kiev, Kharkov, Lvov and other cities, destroying buildings and vehicles parked nearby. The strikes continue, endangering the lives of people in the neighboring Ukraine.
