During the next three days, a liter of gasoline COR 95 will cost 24.72 lei, down 0.03 lei on Friday. A liter of diesel fuel will cost 22.11 lei, down 0.06 lei on today, IPN reports.
According to the National Agency for Energy Regulation (NAER), the period between Februarys 20 and 26 is the fourth consecutive week when retail prices of gasoline and diesel fuel have declined. Standard gasoline over the past four weeks has been cheapened by 3.12 lei/liter, while gasoline COR 95 – by about 1 leu/liter.
“Despite the pessimistic expectations concerning the effect of the EU ban imposed as from February 5 on the purchase of fuel made from Russian crude oil, last month was marked by a decline in Platts quotations for oil derivatives,” noted the Agency.
