CinePOLSKA Film Festival in Romania and Moldova starts online today

Four of the newest Polish films can be seen as part of the 17th Polish Film Festival CinePOLSKA during November 3-7, 2021. Owing to the pandemic situation, CinePOLSKA will take place online, on the platform TIFF Unlimited, IPN reports, quoting the Polish Institute in Bucharest.

According to the organizers, CinePOLSKA is a unique occasion for seeing the most recent Polish films that were awarded at the most important festivals in Poland and the world. The presented films are often screened in a preview regime in Romania and the Republic of Moldova and some of them can be seen only as part of this festival. The four films of the program can be seen during five days and an account on the platform is not necessary for the purpose. The showings will be available to the public in Romania and the Republic of Moldova.

Among the films that will be screened as part of the festival are Jan Holoubek’s debut film “25 Years of Innocence. Case of Tomasz Komenda”, which is based on a drama that shocked the entire Poland, Piotr Domalewski’s film “Far Away From Here”, Tadeusz Śliwa’s film “(Un)known” and a biography of priest Jan Zieja, soldier, social activist, co-founder of the Workers’ Defense Committee and an active participant in the war against the Bolsheviks of 1920 and in World War II.

The films that will be shown on TIFF Unlimited (unlimited.tiff.ro) during November 3-7, 2021 will be subtitled in Romanian and English and can be seen free.
