Rescuers in “Valea Morilor” Park of Chisinau on May 1 saved four persons, three of whom were minors, from drowning. None of the four needed medical care, IPN reports.
According to the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, the first case happened at about 1.40pm. Two minors aged 10 and 12 slipped into the pond when they were playing on the bank. Another case happened at 5:50pm. A woman aged 33 and her eight-year-old daughter fell into the water when they were walking on the levee.
The Inspectorate warns being careful when spending time near ponds and rivers and urges grownups to permanently supervise the minors. In emergencies, one should call the 112 Service.
