Over 1400 grades, increased after the appeals to the graduation exams of the gymnasium

Over 1400 grades were raised at the main session of the graduation exams following the appeals. According to the Ministry of Education and Research, this represents approximately 13% of the total number of contested papers, reports IPN.

MEC states that a total of about 11,400 objections were filed out of over 95 thousand papers. The most objections were filed for the History of Romanians and Universal History exam – 3,950, followed by Mathematics – 3,305, Romanian Language and Literature – 2,973, Romanian Language and Literature for foreign speakers – 669, and Russian Language and Literature – 478.

Following the reevaluation of the papers, the pass rate for Romanian and Universal History has increased to 95.39%, for Mathematics – to 76.69%, for Romanian Language and Literature – to 95.82%, for Russian Language and Literature – to 96.51%, and for Romanian Language and Literature for non-native speakers – to 81.14%.

In the main session of this year’s national graduation exams from middle school, over 34 thousand students were admitted.

The authorities specify that the supplementary session of the national graduation exams for middle school will take place between July 7-10. The preliminary results will be displayed on July 20, and the final ones, after examining the objections, on July 27.
